Raytown Democratic Association

The Raytown Democratic Association was started in the 1960’s as a means for Democratic voters to gather together and to address issues facing the party as well as the direction of our local community. Today we help candidates with get out the vote efforts within our city, mail out ballots, and provide poll workers. Our ballots are openly accepted by the citizens of Raytown who look forward to our endorsements of candidates and issues leading our community forward for years to come. At times, we have found our club providing the only public forums in our city and school board elections. Without our commitment to the community many voters wouldn’t have a clear understanding of the candidates and their positions. In 2007, the club received the Harry Truman Award for the most active club in Jackson County. We welcome others to join our monthly meetings that are held at 7:00 PM the third Thursday of each month at Las Chili’s 6210 Raytown Trafficway, Raytown, MO.
