State Representative Roman Lee LeBlanc

mem0431Representative Roman Lee LeBlanc, a Democrat, represents the Kansas City and Raytown areas of Jackson County (District 43) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

Before having the honor of being elected to the Missouri House of Representatives, Rep. LeBlanc worked in the health care field for Osco Drugs and Johnson and Johnson, Inc.  He also worked in youth and community development for the Heart of America Council, Boy Scouts of America.

Rep. LeBlanc attends Concord Fortress of Hope Church and is a member of the Boy Scouts of America and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He volunteers as a youth advisor for the Cleaver Family YMCA, Hogan Preparatory Academy and the Thornberry Boys & Girls Club.  Rep. LeBlanc is also the Tour Director for the Beta Lambda Education Institute “Spring College Tour,” where he helps high school graduates attend college.

Rep. LeBlanc is an Eagle Scout and received the District Award of Merit from the Boy Scouts of America.  A 1989 graduate of Van Horn High School, Rep. LeBlanc received a B.S. in Social Work from the University of Central Missouri in 1998.

Born September 21, 1971 in Kansas City, Rep. LeBlanc currently lives here with his wife, June.  His mother Mary Lee LeBlanc and father Edward Lee a retired union construction worker, both reside in Kansas City, MO.   He has nine brothers and sisters: Evangeline, Nina, Jerome, Auston, Timothy, Felecia, Robert, Stephanie and Angel.
